Spotlight on Volkswagen Infotainment Technology

For its 2016 line-up, Volkswagen cranks up the technology as it cranks up the fun. Connectivity features across the board spices up the driving experience. Check out the new MIB II infotainment system with VW Car-Net® App-Connect. The new infotainment system becomes the foundation of Volkswagen's Car-Net vehicle services. Among these services you'll find enhanced navigation, remote vehicle access, security features and advanced telematics to name just a few.

Available on most 2016 Volkswagen models, (with the exception of the Eos and the Touareg) you can find the MIB II infotainment system with USB and VW Car-Net® App-Connect that will make all kinds of information and entertainment features available to both drivers and passengers alike. Additionally, whether you're an Android Auto™ person, MirrorLink®, or an Apple CarPlay® type, you'll be able to access apps from your own smartphone right through your vehicle's technology system.

If you're not familiar with MIB II, it's a second-generation modular infotainment platform. (No, it doesn't refer to a sequel of the popular "Men in Black" movies.) MIB II features faster processing speeds, higher resolution and crisper graphics than its predecessor. Though similar to its predecessor (MIB I), it will feature a proximity sensor which will figure out when someone's hand is close by and will automatically switch the display to make it easier to select specific features.

So whether you're looking for a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta, Volkswagen Golf, or another model, at Byers Volkswagen in Columbus we'll be happy to demonstrate the amazing capabilities MIB II offers. Also serving Westerville, OH, Byers Volkswagen is conveniently located at 401 North Hamilton Road in Columbus
