They disallowed video streaming services such as Netflix and block their competitors websites on their Wi-Fi network. There are much better places to have your car serviced, particularly if you are traveling with kids. Germain VW is much more welcoming, for example, and they have free snacks. I asked twice for the express service and was charged for something else on two different occasions. This is equivalent to theft by deception.
During the pandemic when I didn’t want to go to the dealership, I asked if someone could come pick up my car and take in for service. And they did! What wonderful service! I am most grateful to this dealership for going above and beyond.

Service department was excellent. I was there to have some recalls looked at but I wanted some other services added on and they obliged without hesitation. Sometimes on a Saturday- you can get excuses not to take on more work because small crew or shorter hours but they did what I requested.
Byers Imports does a great job of scheduling my service when I want it done. The waiting area is outstanding - very clean and welcoming. I like to get work done while I wait and they have excellent Wifi and nice cubicle-like spaces in which to work. The work is always performed in the minimum time and all the employees are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

The staff’s efforts are the definition of bare minimum. They are the “experts” yet when you bring your car in for an unknown issue they will tell you that’s just the way things are or that they can’t help you if you don’t know what the issue is. I was approached less than 5 minutes by a sales associate who greeted myself and wife. Asked and listened to our needs and offered several autos to test drive. There was never any pressure by the sales associate to make a purchase, but did explain all features that were offered with the autos we test drove. The final decision was fully up to myself and my wife. Made our decision and drove our new Volkswagen home that day.

We have been researching SVU's for a few months, we need snow worthy transport, and tried many brands from economy to luxury. I went in for my Takata airbag recall and left the dealership with an “Airbag Fault” indicator in which I had never seen before. Called the parts counter to see if they had some rain guards I could buy for my 2016 Passat. Rang a few times then I get the answering machine with the aforementioned message. Well, what about MY CONVENIENCE!? I work two jobs, go to school and have two kids. They told me the problems I was having were do to a bent rim after a wheel alignment. We repaired what was called a minor dent and it didn't solve the problem. The service manager tried to blame the dealership that sold me the car "He asked me why do you think they would sell you a car that has theses problems". I would never take my car to byers. I was driving eastbound cross-country (from Los Angeles to Baltimore) in a 2005 VW Jetta, when I had an unexpected breakdown. My coolant reservoir had broken and was leaking coolant/water everywhere.
