I grew up in Newark, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University. While at The Ohio State University, I worked part-time in the automotive industry and that is where my passion started. I have been the General Manager of Byers Imports in Columbus Ohio since February 14th, 1997. My Part time job in college has led to a career spanning 4 decades in the automotive and customer satisfaction industry and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I have been married to a wonderful woman, Becky Adkins King for many years with 3 successful children Shane, Deanna, and Adam.
We are very blessed that our 7 grandchildren Bryce, Kevin, Cassie, Mishae, Sladen, Avery, Conley all live in the Columbus and Johnstown area. Becky and I stay very active in all of their lives and love to watch them grown up.
I’ve been with Byers since 2007, I transitioned into Finance in 2015 and couldn’t be happier. This is my home away from home. My favorite part of being in the automotive industry is working with new people every day because it never gets old. I enjoy creating new relationships and building onto the existing friendships with customers and fellow coworkers.
When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my family. I grew up in the small town of Kirkersville, Ohio, and am now raising my own family there. I have a wonderfully charismatic son, Noah, and an ornery German Shepherd, Coco. Be it family dinners, camping, hiking, kayaking, or even just cozying up inside, we are always together.
I hope to continue working with Byers for many years to come. I really love it here, and look forward to meeting you soon!
I started with the Byers Organization in 2004. Upon hiring, I was at the Downtown Columbus Chevy Store; as a switchboard operator, then moved in to the Internet Dept. Manager role in 2006. In 2010 I transitioned over to the Imports Store. I have been involved in many facets of the Internet/Marketing Departments. I am currently the Internet Manager of all 5 of our Brands (Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Polestar, and Subaru); plus our 2 Pre-Owned Stores!
I am very busy in an ever-changing environment and have a huge passion for my work. I am honored to say that I work for the Byers Organization! I have enjoyed many new relationships, as well as lifelong friendships!
I am a huge Ohio State fan! I have 3 little dogs; their names are Woody Hayes, Eddie George, and Kirk Herbstreit (aka Herbie). They are spoiled rotten!
I was born and raised in Dover, Ohio; a small town NE of Columbus. Dover is near the Amish Communities of Sugarcreek and Walnut Creek. I moved to Columbus 20+ years ago and love being here! I live in Hilliard, Ohio. I bought a condo in 2006 and love spending time at the pool in the summer, and walking my ‘boys’ (dogs) on the walking paths in my community. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family in the Hilliard/Plain City/Marysville/ and Dublin areas.
